Monica Ryu is a Partner in L.E.K. Consulting's Transport and Travel practice based in Sydney. She is also the Global Co-Head of the New Mobility practice. She has also worked for several years in L.E.K.’s Boston office. 

Monica offers her clients over 20 years’ experience consulting to the public and private sector in surface transport, freight and logistics, aviation, and infrastructure. 

Her projects cover strategy development, forecasting, competitive differentiation, business model development, organizational design, M&A advisory support, and strategy activation and implementation.

Monica is also a leader in New Mobility, advising the public sector on the commercial and market implications of new mobility and transport innovation. Her projects have covered strategic design, business and operating model transformation and the implementation of innovative business models.

Monica has authored various thought leadership pieces for the industry, including: “Public Transport, Private Operators – Delivering Better Services Through Franchising” with TTF Australia and “On The Buses: The Benefits of Private Sector Involvement in the Delivery of Bus Services.”
