Peter Walter is a Managing Director in L.E.K. Consulting's New York office. Peter has more than 20 years of global consulting experience, with a focus on strategy development and activation, mergers and acquisitions and performance improvement for both corporate and investor clients. He currently leads L.E.K.’s Agribusiness practice in the Americas and works extensively across selected industrials markets such as chemicals, packaging and industrial/business services. Peter formerly led L.E.K.’s Southeast Asia Practice for seven years and has lived overseas for more than 12 years.
Prior to joining L.E.K., Peter worked with A.T. Kearney for ten years in North America and Southeast Asia. He received a BS in zoology from Duke University and completed his MBA (summa cum laude) from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University. He is fluent in Spanish and Thai, proficient in Bahasa Indonesia, and has basic knowledge of Khmer and Portuguese.
