Alexa Allen is a Managing Director in L.E.K.’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice and is based in the San Francisco office. She partners with businesses and investors across a range of technology-enabled markets, including legal, risk, and compliance; human capital; supply chain and logistics; and real estate / property technology. Alexa also plays a key role in advancing L.E.K.’s work on generative AI, helping clients navigate this rapidly evolving space.
Alexa has extensive experience leading projects focused on product and growth strategy, go-to-market planning, customer segmentation, strategic planning, and M&A support. Her expertise is informed by a diverse background in big tech and startups, spanning marketing, operations, and product strategy roles. She brings a unique blend of strategic insight and operational experience to her work, helping clients thrive in dynamic and competitive markets.
Prior to joining L.E.K., Alexa held leadership roles at major technology firms. At Microsoft, she served as a Director on the Cloud + AI corporate strategy team, where she led the business applications (Dynamics) portfolio and advised Fortune 100 companies on their digital transformation strategies. At Meta, she oversaw product marketing and strategy for Feed algorithms on Facebook, with an emphasis on partnerships and Creators. Earlier in her career, she helped lead business operations and strategic projects at a Series C customer engagement startup, driving initiatives in customer retention and pricing/packaging.
Alexa holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a B.A. in Economics and Religious Studies from New York University.
