Antonio Martínez is a Partner in L.E.K. Consulting’s Financial Services practice, with a focus on banking, insurance and wealth management. Based in Madrid, Antonio will focus on banking, insurance and wealth management, and play a key role in developing the Financial Services practice while expanding L.E.K.’s presence in Spain and Latin America.
Antonio brings extensive experience helping prominent financial institutions across Europe, the Americas and Asia deliver growth, large-scale transformations and sustained productivity improvement. He has worked with universal and retail banks, insurers, and wealth management firms to refine go-to-market strategies, optimize organizational and operating models, and build high-performing teams aligned to enterprise priorities.
Throughout his career, Antonio has demonstrated strong leadership in building and developing consulting teams for leading management consulting firms across Europe, Latin America, and Asia. He has played a pivotal role in shaping high-performing teams and advancing capabilities in business transformation and technology within these regions. Antonio’s efforts have focused on fostering talent, driving collaboration across diverse cultures, and establishing practices that support sustainable growth and innovation.
Antonio holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a B.S. in Electromechanical Engineering with honors from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He is fluent in Spanish and English, and serves as Chairman of Colegio Ciudad de Mexico.
