Carter is a Managing Director in L.E.K.’s New York office and a member of the firm's Consumer practice. He has over a decade of experience advising consumer brands and retailers on organic and inorganic growth strategy, go-to-market strategy, and both sell- and buy-side M&A support. Carter has expertise in the home and broader consumer durables categories, where he works closely with clients to navigate dynamic markets and deliver impactful results.
He leads L.E.K.’s Market Insights function within the Consumer sector, where he drives the design and execution of best-in-class insights programs, including quantitative surveys, conjoint analyses, and other advanced methodologies to inform critical client decisions. Carter also brings significant experience in advising management teams on strategic planning and building alignment with boards and investors.
Prior to joining L.E.K., Carter was a member of the investment team at The Chernin Group, where he developed his expertise in evaluating and supporting high-growth companies.
Carter earned his MBA from The Wharton School, where he was recognized as a Palmer Scholar, and holds a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy from Boston College, graduating cum laude.
