BOSTON and NEW YORK (April 15, 2019) – L.E.K. Consulting announced today that Robert Albarano and Ian Watt have joined the global management consulting firm as partners in the Life Sciences & Pharma and Energy & Environment practices, respectively. Albarano is based in the firm’s New York office. Watt is based in Sydney, where he will lead the Energy & Environment practice in Australia.

With more than 20 years of consulting experience, Albarano has advised clients in the pharmaceutical and broader healthcare sector on a range of issues, including growth strategy, pharmaceutical pricing, market access, clinical trial design and franchise opportunities. Prior to joining L.E.K., Albarano held senior roles at IQVIA Consulting Services (formerly IMS Consulting) and Syneos Health (formerly Campbell Alliance). He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in business economics and finance and a Master of Arts in economics from Ohio University. He received his Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Having spent more than a decade in strategy consulting, he has advised clients on operational transformation, growth strategy and long-term future and strategic planning. Before joining L.E.K., Watt was a partner at Strategy& and prior to that he worked in global carbon markets and in the UK and Australian power sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, UK.
