TOKYO — February 20, 2026 — Global strategy consulting firm L.E.K. announces that Christian Boettcher, a multicultural management consulting veteran, has joined the firm as a Partner in its Life Sciences practice. Based in Tokyo, Christian is a strategic addition to L.E.K.’s growing presence in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region and brings global perspective to advising life sciences and healthcare organizations worldwide on strategy, market entry and transformation.
Christian joins L.E.K. with more than 30 years of consulting and leadership experience at several top global consulting firms, including his most recent role as APAC life sciences and healthcare leader. His deep understanding of the Japan and APAC landscape, as well as his perspective from having lived and worked across Asia Pacific, Europe and North America, further strengthens L.E.K.’s capabilities in one of the world’s most dynamic life sciences markets.

Christian’s expertise spans many areas, with a particular focus on advising pharmaceutical firms, medical device firms, healthcare providers, payers and government entities on corporate strategy, large transformation, M&A and operational efficiency. Christian has led many major multinational client engagements and built and scaled high-performing consulting teams across APAC.

Christian holds an MBA in International Business from ESCP Business School and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University. He is fluent in English, German and Japanese.
