Shanghai, China –September 29, 2011 – L.E.K. Consulting is pleased to announce the further expansion of its leadership team in China. Stephen Sunderland joins from L.E.K.’s London office to support the ongoing growth of the firm in China.
Stephen, who previously worked in L.E.K.’s Shanghai office in 2005, has over a decade of experience in strategy consulting. He has advised senior private and public sector organisations on strategy across a range of areas, including commercial due diligence (buy-side and sell-side), market entry strategy, organic and inorganic growth strategy, bid development, hostile takeover defence, litigation support and organisational and operational design.
Stephen commented: “China is one of the most dynamic economies in the world, in which L.E.K.’s combination of deep sector experience and rigorous research and analysis has been well received for over a decade. Amongst Stephen’s recent assignments are an independent review of the UK government’s £16bn p.a. defence equipment acquisition programme and the development of a financial and operational plan for a FTSE100 energy company launching a new business.
Stephen has a Masters in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Cambridge, UK.
