London – January 3, 2013 – L.E.K. Consulting, a global management consulting firm, today announced that it has elected Stuart Jackson as Global Managing Partner. Effective immediately, Mr. Jackson is responsible for leading the firm’s global operations and strategy. L.E.K. Founder Iain Evans will continue in his role as L.E.K. Chairman.

Mr. Jackson began his career at L.E.K. in London nearly 30 years ago and has spent the majority of his time at L.E.K. in the U.S., where he has held multiple U.S. and global leadership roles, including President of L.E.K. North America and head of L.E.K.’s Chicago office. He has counseled companies across multiple industries, including healthcare, consumer products, food & beverage and private equity, and is an innovator in the areas of business strategy and management excellence. Mr. Jackson is the author of the acclaimed book, "Where Value Hides: A New Way to Uncover Profitable Growth for Your Business," and has published dozens of business articles, including articles in Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Businessweek and Journal of Business Strategy. He will continue to be based in L.E.K.’s Chicago office.

L.E.K. also announced today that Peter McKelvey will succeed Mr. Jackson as President of L.E.K. North America and will lead the firm’s U.S. Regional Management Committee, joining John Goddard and Simon Barrett, who hold equivalent roles in Europe and Asia respectively, and complete the leadership of L.E.K.’s three major geographic regions.

Mr. McKelvey has been with L.E.K. for more than 20 years, working primarily with private equity and life sciences clients. He also led L.E.K.’s Boston office for nine years, and will remain based in Boston. Mr. Goddard is based in London, has been an L.E.K. Partner since 1995, and advises European-based organizations across consumer, industrial and service sectors. He also has considerable experience advising private equity funds. Mr. Barrett has been with L.E.K. for more than 20 years, with extensive experience advising clients in Australia, Asia and Europe. He also heads the firm’s Asia-Pacific Surface Transport & Logistics practice and is based in Sydney.
