Consulting, a global strategy consultancy, announced that Will Callender has joined the firm as a Managing Director in the New York office and a leader in the firm’s Financial Services practice. Will brings over 25 years of experience advising executive leadership teams and boards across the banking, payments, FinTech, and specialty finance sectors.
Will has built a reputation as a trusted advisor, collaborating with financial institutions on critical initiatives in corporate strategy, performance improvement, digital innovation, balance sheet management and risk governance. His experience spans global consultancies, financial technology ventures, and capital markets, enabling him to deliver transformative impact for clients across the financial services ecosystem.

Before joining L.E.K., Will was the president of a financial technology firm focused on providing digital infrastructure and next-generation solutions for U.S. banks. He previously served as a Partner and Americas Financial Services Practice Leader at a global consulting firm and also held senior roles at other top-tier consultancies. Earlier in his career, Will worked in capital markets as a trader in fixed income, equity and derivatives securities.
A recognized thought leader, Will is a frequent speaker at board offsites, industry forums, and regulatory events. His perspectives have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, The New York Times, The American Banker, and Bank Director Magazine, among others. He holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance from Georgetown University.
