Gigi Wong
Gigi Wong is a Managing Director and Partner in L.E.K. Consulting’s San Francisco office as well as a leader in the Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) and Financial Services practices.
Gigi has extensive experience across strategy and due diligence engagements for financial services and technology businesses in accounting/Office of CFO, insurance, payments, banking, wealth management, sales and marketing, and others. She has particular expertise in growth strategy, market assessments, operating model design, organizational structure, pricing and packaging strategy, competitive intelligence assessment, customer migration strategy, and new vertical market identification.
Gigi was listed as one of the “Top 50 Women Leaders in San Francisco” by Women We Admire and received the “Emerging Leaders” award by the M&A Advisor in 2023.
Prior to joining L.E.K., Gigi worked in the transaction advisory practice of Grant Thornton and in the financial accounting advisory practice of Huron Consulting Group. She holds a B.S. in business administration and a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Sam Shinner
Sam Shinner, a Managing Director and Partner in L.E.K. Consulting’s San Francisco office, is a member of the Technology practice with a focus on Martech, Fintech, Edtech and Pricing. He has been with the firm for over 10 years, advising clients on a range of key strategic decisions, including go-to-market model, pricing and packaging, new market entry, M&A and corporate strategy development. Sam was recognized by Consulting Magazine as a Rising Star of the Profession in 2022.
Outside of L.E.K., Sam has spent time leading public sector digital transformation projects and coaching technology startups. He has an MBA from UC Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oxford.
