BOSTON, MA (Jan 31, 2023) – L.E.K. Consulting, the global strategy consultancy, has elected Managing Directors Lain Anderson and Joseph Johnson as the new Global Healthcare Sector Co-Heads, Americas. They replace Jonas Funk, Managing Director, who has completed a three-year term in the position.

Lain Anderson is a Managing Director and Partner, based in L.E.K.’s Boston office. Supporting clients across the life sciences industry, he advises on a range of needs, including corporate and business unit growth strategy, R&D portfolio prioritization, product launch planning, due diligence, strategic budgeting, revenue forecasting and valuation. In 2017, Anderson was selected as a Rising Star of the Consulting Profession by Consulting Magazine. He holds a BS in management from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and an MBA with distinction from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Joseph Johnson, a Managing Director and Partner, and a leader in the firm’s Healthcare Services sub-sector, works with healthcare IT, provider and payer clients. With more than 20 years of consulting experience, he plays an instrumental role in helping senior executives across the healthcare services industry develop and implement new strategies. Johnson also provides transaction support to address the changing healthcare landscape. He holds a BA in economics cum laude from Harvard University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
