CHICAGO (December 11, 2018) – L.E.K. Consulting has elected Robert Rourke, a Managing Director at the global management consulting firm, as its Head of the Americas Region.
Rourke, who joined L.E.K. in 1996, served as leader of the firm’s Chicago office as it doubled in size. Most recently, he has led the Americas Building Products & Materials practice, which he established and helped build into a market leadership position.
“On behalf of all of L.E.K.’s partners, it’s a pleasure to congratulate Robert Rourke on his appointment as Head of our Americas Region. In addition to the significant innovations he has initiated within our Building Products teams and within that industry overall, he helped develop L.E.K.’s Industrials practice into one of the firm’s largest and fastest-growing areas. His work has spanned 600 consulting projects focused on growth strategy as well as M&A. On top of all of that, he has mentored numerous L.E.K. people, many of whom now have leading roles the firm,” said L.E.K. Global Managing Partner Stuart Jackson.
Rourke succeeds L.E.K. Managing Director Peter McKelvey, who has served as Head of the Americas Region for the past six years.

Rourke holds a BA in finance from Syracuse University and an MBA with Distinction from Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He serves on the Board of Directors of The Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind and has recently led an L.E.K. pro bono project for Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center, which helps children who have been abused.
Jonathan Sparey remains head of L.E.K.’s Europe region and Nicholas Holder remains head of its Asia-Pacific Region.
