Janice Lee to join L.E.K. Consulting in Sydney

SYDNEY — (20 November 2019) —  L.E.K. Consulting Australia announced today that it has appointed Janice Lee as Head of its Government practice in Australia, based in Sydney.

Lee brings deep experience in evidence-based policy development across sectors like transport, infrastructure, health, energy and education.

She will work alongside Simon Barrett, Senior Partner and Head of L.E.K’s Travel & Transport practice in Australia, and the wider firm in supporting a broad range of public sector clients.

The creation of this new role for Australia is part of L.E.K.’s growth strategy, which strengthens the firm’s consulting capabilities for the government sector.

“Janice Lee’s background in advising governments and organisations on policy and regulatory topics, plus her background in government, make her a great addition to the firm, especially our service offerings for the public sector,” says Nick Holder, Partner and Head of L.E.K.’s Asia-Pacific region.

Previously, Lee was a Director at EY in their Economics, Policy and Regulation practice. Before that, she worked across several high profile Government portfolios as a policy advisor, including the Office of the Australian Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, the Office of the Australian Treasurer and the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet. Lee holds a Bachelor of Commerce/Arts from the University of New South Wales.
