Chicago, IL  January 21, 2014 — L.E.K. Consulting, a global management consulting firm, announced today the appointment of four new partners across the firm globally. The new appointments, which are all from within the firm, support L.E.K.’s global growth, and enable the firm to continue to help its clients deliver exceptional results.

The new partners are:

David Bishop, based in Sydney, began his tenure at L.E.K. in 2004 as an associate in the Auckland office. David has played a leading role in the development of L.E.K.’s media and entertainment practice in Australia, working with some of the country’s largest media firms. He also works extensively with retail and consumer products and private equity clients, particularly in the area of consumer insights. He received his B.A. in commerce from the University of Auckland.

Ashish Khanna, based in London, joined L.E.K. in 2006 as a consultant. His experience includes working with financial services clients across insurance, wealth management and specialist products. He has substantial experience in strategy, decision support, mergers and acquisitions, and performance improvements projects across the UK, European and global markets. Khanna received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and his M.B.A. from INSEAD.

Putnam Shin, based in London, started at L.E.K. as a summer consultant in 2004 and joined as a full time consultant in 2005. Prior to joining L.E.K., Shin worked in investment banking at Merrill Lynch, and in strategic planning at The Walt Disney Company, where he covered strategy, business development and M&A transactions across film, TV, Internet, games, theme park and consumer products.  At L.E.K., Shin specializes in the media, entertainment, leisure and technology sectors. He earned a B.A. in economics from Pomona College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Justin Wang, based in Shanghai, joined L.E.K. as an associate in 2003. He has advised corporate and financial investor clients in China on corporate and business unit strategy, pricing and market access strategy, market and competitive assessment, business development strategy, and commercial due diligence. Wang is an expert in the life sciences and medtech sectors, and also lends his expertise to the private equity and industrials sectors. He earned his B.A. in economics and international finance from Fudan University.
