BOSTON, MA (May 11, 2023) – L.E.K. Consulting Managing Director Lucas Pain has been named one of Consulting magazine’s 2023 Top Consultants. Pain, who is a co-head of L.E.K.’s Global Industrials sector, was recognized for Excellence in Leadership.

Pain, based in Chicago, is a leading strategic advisor to product manufacturers, distributors and service providers across the residential and nonresidential construction landscape. He advises clients on growth strategies and opportunities, helping them navigate industry challenges such as rising competition, pricing and margin pressures, labor shortages, M&A and uncertainty around construction cycles.
Pain also leads pro-bono projects for non-profit organizations in Chicago that impact a number of social issues, ranging from helping victims of sexual assault and violence to supporting Chicago job growth. He is also a member of the firm’s Americas Regional Management Committee and Partner Development Committee.
