April 3, 2017 — Chicago, IL

Event: AWA & L.E.K. Consulting Packaging Mergers & Acquisitions Executive Forum 2017

Session: Private Equity

The Packaging Sector is low beta, over-indexes on acquisition opportunities due to its fragmentation across market segments, offers opportunities to capture differential growth rates due to innovation and product/substrate mix shifts, and ultimately gives investors ample opportunities to expand margins and create value. On this panel we’ll hear from seasoned investors in the Packaging Sector and explore ideas on how to create value in this exciting sector. Multiples on packaging assets have been trending northward and in many packaging segments it’s great to be a seller and tougher to be a buyer as of late. Auction processes have also been evolving. On this panel we’ll hear from leading investment bankers and “match makers” who specialize in the Packaging Sector and explore topics related to the purchase and sale of packaging assets.
