Minneapolis, MN — October 17-19, 2016

Event: AdvaMed 2016

Presentation:

The importance of demonstrating economic outcomes has never been greater for medtech organizations, which translates into a higher-priority focus on their Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) function. The traditional view of HEOR as a market access function with a longer-term focus on building evidence has evolved. Thanks largely to the shift to value-based care and growing economic demands from provider customers, HEOR is playing an increasingly important role in commercial success. However, many medtech organizations face internal and cultural challenges in optimizing the effectiveness of their HEOR function. These challenges include gaining appropriate mindshare from executive teams that come from a tradition of top-line and sales management; and integrating HEOR across the corporate divide between market access and sales & marketing. Join us for a lively panel discussion that will explore how medtech companies are successfully leveraging and integrating their HEOR functions to achieve commercial impact. L.E.K. Managing Director Ken Graves will moderate this session and panelists include Yvonne Bokelman, Vice President, Global Market Access, Health Economics & Reimbursement, Zimmer Biomet; Nadim Yared, CEO, CVRx, Inc.

Date/Location: October 18, 2016 - Minneapolis Convention Center - Minneapolis, MN

Time: 4:00 — 5:15 pm
