London - December 21, 2010 - L.E.K. Consulting today announced that it has been named Healthcare Sector Adviser of the Year in the prestigious Acquisitions Monthly Awards.
The Acquisitions Monthly judges considered deal activity between 1st December 2009 and 1st December 2010 and looked for evidence of innovation, sector focus, transactional expertise and overall contribution to the successful completion of specific deals.
L.E.K. was commended for its role in deals including Bridgepoint’s acquisitions of Care UK and LGC in the UK, and Solhagagruppen in Sweden. Across Europe, L.E.K. provided commercial advice on an additional 19 healthcare sector transactions, reinforcing its strong global position.
