Niklas’s and Hannah’s achievements mean that L.E.K. has the widest range of advanced Alteryx qualifications, globally. This leading capability enables L.E.K.’s clients to benefit from deeper and faster insights, additional commercial and operational opportunities, and more dynamic hypothesis and scenario testing.
In 2018, Niklas, Data and Analytics Lead at L.E.K., became one of the world’s first certified Alteryx Designer Experts, and this year Hannah Roland, Data & Analytics Specialist, joined the exclusive club. There are only 23 people worldwide who have passed the test required to become certified Alteryx Designer Experts.
Hannah and Niklas have also become the first ever certified Alteryx Spatial Masters, and Niklas has achieved Predictive Master status, becoming the only person in the world to hold two Alteryx mastery certifications.

The Alteryx Designer Expert Certification includes advanced data preparation, in-database processing and analysis, spatial analysis and location intelligence, complex automation tasks including macros and applications, and predictive analysis.
Alteryx Spatial Master Certification incorporates mastery of a wide variety of complex spatial analyses and the ability to create and share maps with others to derive location intelligence in the organization.
Alteryx Predictive Master Certification includes predictive analytics and machine learning to provide data-driven insights. Predictive Masters have full command of the data science lifecycle, such as: data preparation, data exploration, predictive modelling and evaluation, and interpretation and deployment. This incorporates select algorithms to model datasets, train, evaluate, and compare predictive models, adjust hyper parameters to improve model performance.
