James Brummer-Taylor joins consultancy as Principal as L.E.K. grows further into performance improvement.
SYDNEY — (2 December 2019) — L.E.K. Consulting Australia announced today that it has appointed James Brummer-Taylor as a Principal within the consultancy’s Organisation & Performance practice.
Brummer-Taylor brings more than a decade of experience in consulting, commercial and line management. he is responsible for continuing the firm’s expansion of the Organisation & Performance practice, which has seen substantial growth in recent years and set to grow further with key appointments made in the last 12 months.

Brummer-Taylor works from Queenstown, New Zealand where he lives and works primarily in the Sydney office commuting regularly or working remotely ― a working arrangement that fits the consultancy’s growth strategy of enabling a flexible environment. “Balanced flex working arrangements are to be solved for and embraced in business today,” says Brummer-Taylor.

Brummer-Taylor bring significant experience to L.E.K.’s Australia and New Zealand practice through his proven execution and delivery capability, and his deep sector experience in energy, agriculture and manufacturing.
Previously, he was a Principal at Partners in Performance, as well as performed commercial, strategy and M&A roles at Origin Energy. He has also held line and consulting roles at Kensington Swan and Aclaro.
He has a Bachelor's degree in commerce, and an MBA, both from the University of Otago.
