Previously, he held the positions of CFO of Club Med, chairman and CEO of Air France, and chairman of the executive committee of IATA. He has also served on many significant boards including SNCF, CIC, BNP, Société Générale, Scor, Méridien Hotels, Air Inter, La Poste, Sabena, CSA, EuroTunnel and Bacarat.
