Arnaud Sergent

Arnaud Sergent is a Partner in L.E.K.’s Paris office and leads the European Healthcare practice (Lifesciences/Pharma, Healthcare Services and MedTech). He is also a member of L.E.K.’s European Regional Management Committee.

With more than 30 years consulting experience, Arnaud is one of L.E.K.’s European experts in healthcare services (including hospital, elderly care, homecare and out-patient care), contract services (CRO, CDMO) and medical devices. He has extensive experience in corporate and business strategy developments and M&A, including transaction due diligences for both corporate and private equity clients.

Prior to his current role, Arnaud was Head of L.E.K.’s Paris office for four years, after having worked in L.E.K.’s London and Munich offices. Arnaud is a graduate from HEC and received a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD.

Eilert Hinrichs

Eilert Hinrichs is a Partner in L.E.K. Consulting’s London office. He has 20 years of consulting experience and is a senior member of L.E.K.’s European Healthcare Services Practice and European Financial Services Practice. In both sectors he has completed a large number of assignments across Europe, working closely with senior management teams in addressing key strategic issues, developing market entry strategies, improving commercial effectiveness, and providing transaction support on both the buy and sell sides.

The impact of the aging population on healthcare systems and the financial services needs of this ‘golden generation’ are key topics that touch many of his assignments, as they pose challenges but also offer significant opportunities for providers in both sectors.

Eilert has profound understanding of the CEE healthcare systems where he advised on all major transactions over the past five years.

Prior to joining L.E.K., Eilert worked in retail banking in Germany. He received a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Fridericiana University of Karlsruhe (KIT).  He is married and has two young boys that keep him on his toes outside of work and he likes outdoor activities, including cycling and skiing.

Katya Zubareva

Katya Zubareva is a Partner in L.E.K. Consulting’s London office. She has been with the firm since 2007 and is a member of the Healthcare Services practice.

Katya’s experience extends across the healthcare sector, including projects in acute care, primary care, diagnostic imaging, dentistry, fertility clinics, mental health and care home markets across the globe. She is an expert in both strategy development and transaction support, and is passionate about using data & analytics tools to support decision-making.

She is a champion of equality and diversity in the workplace, and is the founder and co-chair of the Women’s Network in the London office.

Before joining L.E.K., Katya worked in finance with one of the largest global fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Klaus Boehncke

Klaus Boehncke is a Global Digital Health Lead for L.E.K. based in Europe. 

With more than 25 years of experience across Europe and Asia-Pacific, Klaus is a recognized expert in disciplines including digital, technology and business strategy, as well as program management support. He has worked across a variety of areas, including strategy consulting, private equity, venture capital and turnaround management, advising leading private sector clients, government ministries and related public sector bodies. Klaus’ expert commentary has appeared in the Financial Times as well as other publications. He was instrumental in developing the L.E.K. Digital Excellence (DEX) maturity model which has been used in many of our client engagements and also by our clients directly.

At L.E.K., Klaus focuses on digital strategy and innovation for healthcare services companies (including clinic chains and hospitals) as well as life sciences corporates, and on reviewing digital and healthcare IT solutions on due diligence work for investors in these markets. Innovation themes that Klaus advises on include exponential acceleration of digital change, the application of AI and data analytics for healthcare decision support, mobile apps and digital therapeutics, as well as telemedicine.

Before joining L.E.K., Klaus was a partner with the IBM Global Digital Strategy Team and other leading consulting firms. He holds an MSc degree in Physics from the Technical University of Munich and the University of Illinois, and an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD, France. He holds dual German and Australian citizenships.

Tobias Koesters

Tobias Koesters is a Partner at L.E.K. Consulting and heads the Munich office. In addition, Tobias is a member of L.E.K.’s European Regional Management Committee and a senior member of the European Healthcare Services and Life Sciences practices. Since joining L.E.K. in 2007, his career has encompassed a wide array of sectors, focused primarily on Healthcare Services, MedTech and Industrials.

Tobias has particular expertise in the out-patient market and has advised leading players in the medical device arena across a broad set of geographies. Other areas of experience include nursing homes, specialist hospitals, and M&A and corporate strategies for medical device, healthcare, and industrial companies. Tobias has extensive experience in delivering high-impact projects addressing corporate growth strategy, business design and transaction support, covering a wide variety of issues including strategic planning, market entry strategies and transaction due diligence.

Prior to joining L.E.K., he worked for Porsche Motorsports in the United States. Tobias studied business administration and health economics at the University of Bayreuth and earned a graduate degree (Diplom-Kaufmann) in International Management, Finance & Banking.

Tobias Koesters

Maurício França

Maurício is a partner in L.E.K.'s São Paulo office. He leads L.E.K.'s Healthcare practice in South America and is a member of the firm’s Travel & Transport practice.

As the head for L.E.K. healthcare practice in Latin America, Maurício advises payers and providers on a variety of strategic issues, including strategic planning, competitive analysis, marketing effectiveness, healthcare cost-effectiveness and general & administrative (G&A) optimization. He has also supported several pharmaceutical and medical device companies on issues like international expansion, market access, innovation and portfolio optimization.

As a member of L.E.K.'s Travel & Transport practice, Maurício focuses on airlines and new mobility. He has worked closely with leading airlines on issues including alliance planning, loyalty, ancillary revenue, LOPA design, operational improvement, and engine maintenance strategy. He has also worked with several investors on the impact new mobility will bring to industries such as airports, parking, car rental and automotive.

Maurício has extensive experience with private equity funds, having advised over 40 M&A transactions over the last five years. He has a deep understanding of the main drivers for a successful PE acquisition, and he has seen investment theses in a variety of industries, including healthcare, consumer products, building products, agribusiness, business services, general aviation, telecom, technology and infrastructure.

Prior to joining L.E.K., Maurício worked for the Emirates Investment Authority, UAE's federal sovereign wealth fund in Abu Dhabi. He started his management consulting career with McKinsey in 1999 in Spain. He graduated 3rd in his Computer Engineering class from Unicamp (Brazil), and he received merit based scholarships from Fundação Estudar and Instituto Ling in Brazil. Mauricio holds an MBA from Sloan School of Management at MIT (USA), and is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

In his free time, he enjoys reading about economy, philosophy, science and psychology. Maurício is married, has two sons, a dog and lives in São Paulo.
