Robert Rourke

Robert Rourke is a Partner Emeritus. Most recently he was Vice-Chair, Global Industrials where he advised major clients across several industry subsectors on meeting important strategic challenges related to growth, transformation and M&A. Based in Chicago, he recently completed his three-year term as Head of the Americas Region. Under his tenure in that role, L.E.K. in the U.S. grew by over 50% and introduced new and expanded service offerings related to Organization and Performance Improvement, Digital Transformation and Sustainability.

Robert has chaired L.E.K.’s Americas Regional Management Committee and served on the Global Leadership Team. He has more than 25 years of consulting experience and has directed over 600 consulting projects focused on growth strategy and M&A across a range of industries. He has served as Head of L.E.K.’s Americas Building & Construction practice and led the firm’s Americas Industrials sector. He also has extensive retail and consumer products experience.

In 2018, Robert was named one of Consulting magazine’s Top 25 Consultants for Excellence in Leadership — an award that recognizes the most influential consultants making the greatest impact in the industry. He received a BA in finance from Syracuse University and was awarded an MBA with Distinction from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Robert is also a frequent lecturer at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University on mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining L.E.K., Robert was a manager with Accenture.
