HOUSTON (August 24, 2020) – Global management consulting firm L.E.K. Consulting announced that Mazen Skaf has joined as a partner in its Energy practice. Skaf is based in Houston.

In this role, Skaf will lead teams of industry and subject-matter experts that advise boards and company leadership all across phases of the energy and petrochemical value chain, providing strategy, M&A and advanced data and analytics solutions as companies pursue growth initiatives.

With more than 17 years of experience in management consulting, energy and technology, Skaf has expertise in taking start-ups and established companies to global scale and driving revenue growth through strategy development and execution, business model innovation, M&A and strategic partnerships.

Prior to joining L.E.K., Mazen served as a Partner, Managing Director and member of the Board of Directors at Strategic Decisions Group. Previously, he held roles at TRACON Pharmaceuticals and Rapt Technologies Inc. (acquired by Microsoft). He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington and an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University.
