NEW YORK, NY (October 10, 2019) —Working Mother revealed its second annual Best Companies for Dads list, celebrating organizations that lead in the areas of paternity and gender-neutral parental leave, flexible schedules, phase-back programs for dads, and more. L.E.K. Consulting was one of the 50 companies recognized on this year’s list.
"Moms and dads with careers want employers who support them at work and at home," says Meredith Bodgas, editor-in-chief of Working Mother. “With more and more millennial dads speaking out, companies are improving their parental leave, flexible work, and telecommuting policies. That's because these employers know that when dads play a more active role at home, more women can succeed at work."
“L.E.K. is honored to be recognized by Working Mother as one of the 50 Best Companies for Dads. We firmly believe in fostering a workplace that fully supports the highly important roles our people have as parents and caregivers. We’ve worked to implement programs that help our dual career families both at home and at work, and, ultimately, this benefits our culture, our organization and our clients,” said Robert Rourke, President of L.E.K. Consulting’s Americas region.
“We created the Best Dads list to applaud trendsetting companies that are listening to their employees and leading the way for other top employers,” says Subha V. Barry, president of Working Mother Media. “The data is clear. Dads who have the flexibility to do their part in parenting and caregiving provide support that is so important to a working mom’s success.”

About the Methodology
To determine this list, the Working Mother Research Institute examined answers to questions related to dads submitted to the application for Working Mother’s annual 100 Best Companies. Those questions include paternity leave, adoption leave, surrogacy and fertility benefits, phase-back-to-work programs, childcare options, and employee-resource groups for men. Fifty companies had scores high enough to qualify for the list this year, up from 35 organizations in 2018.
