About Eileen Coveney
Eileen Coveney is a Senior Partner in L.E.K. Consulting’s Biopharmaceuticals & Life Sciences Practice. Eileen is also a member of L.E.K.’s Global Leadership Team. She has over 22 years of experience providing strategic advice to the leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to develop and execute growth strategies. Key areas of Eileen’s expertise include corporate strategy, franchise strategy, product opportunity assessment, and business development strategy. In addition, Eileen leads the firm's royalty monetization support efforts and has completed over 35 royalty evaluations that have resulted in value-creating transactions for both royalty holders and investors.
Eileen's therapeutic area experience is comprehensive with particular expertise in orphan drugs, oncology, gastrointestinal conditions, autoimmune diseases, women’s health, men’s health, infectious disease and vaccines. Until recently she was focused on the U.S. biopharmaceuticals space and has recently transitioned her focus to European pharma. Eileen has held several leadership positions within the firm, most recently co-leading L.E.K.’s U.S. Biopharmaceuticals & Life Sciences Practice. She earned her Master of Business Administration at Harvard Business School and her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from College of the Holy Cross.
