Jonathan Kfoury
Jonathan Kfoury is a Partner Emeritus in L.E.K. Consulting’s Chicago office, focused on life sciences and healthcare. He joined the firm in 2006 and has led an extensive set of engagements with global biopharmaceutical, medical technology and healthcare/health system clients, as well as emerging and leading non-profit organizations focused in global health and access. Jonathan advises clients on commercial strategy, R&D planning, organizational scale-up and growth / partnering strategy.
Among extensive broader experience in oncology, immunology, neurology and rare diseases, Jonathan has been active in the infectious disease space for over 15 years. In particular, Jonathan has published and spoken extensively across the industry on the crisis of antimicrobial resistance, barriers to investment into novel antibiotics, public/private partnership and key opportunities for innovators within anti-infectives more broadly.
In 2019, Jonathan Kfoury was named a board member to the Bay Area Global Health Alliance – a network of over 100 leading organizations across a spectrum of sectors focused on strengthening the Bay Area’s global health impact worldwide, as well as driving economic impact in the region. Prior to joining L.E.K., Jonathan was a Business Development executive at several biopharma organizations, and manager of global Clinical Development for Cubist Pharmaceuticals’ (now Merck) blockbuster antibiotic Cubicin® – the most successful IV antibiotic launched in US history. In addition to global management training at INSEAD, Jonathan earned an S.M. in Health Policy & Management from Harvard University, and graduated from Trinity College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience.
