Once people sign up for a subscription service, their consumption habits change significantly. Across all metrics (e.g., number of movies seen, concessions purchased), a majority of subscribers reported an increase in activity.
Cinema subscription services operated by the theater chains themselves stand to benefit in particular from this increase. For example, survey results highlight the potential for theater chains to use subscription programs to increase loyalty and concession sales.
