London - February 12, 2010 - L.E.K. Consulting, an international strategy consultancy, has appointed 13 new partners across Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. The new appointments strengthen L.E.K.’s global capability and provide additional expertise to support its increasingly diverse client base. The partners – titled vice president in the U.S. – are based in 10 of L.E.K.’s 20 global offices.

The expanded leadership team will enable L.E.K. to provide greater support to sectors where economic and political pressures have created complex commercial challenges and new business opportunities. These sectors include aviation, energy and carbon management, financial services, healthcare and life sciences, infrastructure and public services. L.E.K. combines global reach and regional expertise to help clients address their most pressing business issues – whether they are concerned with complex strategic decisions, significant performance improvement programmes or high-value M&A initiatives.

Europe

David Danon-Boileau – Paris: Mr. Danon-Boileau’s experience covers a range of areas from operations and organizational design to business unit strategy and M&A. He has a strong background in a number of sectors, including healthcare, energy and transportation.

Florian Funke – London: Mr. Funke’s experience covers strategy development, performance improvement and transaction advisory roles for clients in the industrial manufacturing, transportation, logistics and healthcare services industries.

Owen Hazell – London: Mr. Hazell’s background includes strategy development, commercial bid support and commercial due diligence engagements in transport, business services, retail and consumer products sectors.

Andrew Hone – London: Mr. Hone brings a strong background in telecommunications, media and entertainment, transport and construction sectors. His expertise includes pricing, marketing and customer segmentation, and acquisition due diligence.

Tobias Schmitz – Munich: Mr. Schmitz has supported clients with M&A transactions, strategy development, value enhancement and performance improvement, business planning, and pricing in industry sectors including retail and consumer goods, transport, infrastructure, construction and private equity.

North America 

Nurry Hong – Los Angeles: Mr. Hong oversees corporate strategy, portfolio planning and optimization, and transaction support for companies across sectors including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, diagnostics and services. 

Joan Kim – San Francisco: Ms. Kim advises managed care organizations, health insurance companies, providers and other healthcare companies on strategy development, diversification options assessment, M&A due diligence and performance improvement. 

Alan Lewis – Boston: Mr. Lewis specializes in aviation, consumer products and innovation. He has worked with major U.S. airlines to develop and implement new product strategies, growth strategies and orchestrate acquisition support. 

Lucas Pain – Chicago: Mr. Pain directs consulting engagements focused on growth strategy across a broad range of industries, including energy, medtech, construction and private equity. 

Ian Tzeng – Boston: Mr. Tzeng’s consulting experience includes growth strategy, regulated markets, innovation, loyalty, pricing and M&A. He provides significant insight into healthcare, life sciences, aviation and travel industries. 

Asia Pacific 

Anotai Adulbhan – Bangkok: Mr. Adulbhan has advised clients in industries including aviation, financial services, chemicals, construction, utilities, mining and government. His experience includes strategy, M&A and performance management. 

David Ferrarin – Sydney: Mr. Ferrarin has established himself as an expert in "the business of sport", adding strength to L.E.K.’s global Media & Entertainment practice. His expertise also spans the media, gaming and wagering industries. 

David Ogilvy – Melbourne: Mr. Ogilvy leads L.E.K.’s Australia and New Zealand natural resources practice and advises governments, corporations and private equity firms on strategy, M&A and performance improvement.
