John Westwood joined L.E.K. in 1990 and has been an integral part of building L.E.K.’s Global Biopharmaceuticals & Life Sciences practice. John co-heads L.E.K.’s Biopharmaceutical & Life Sciences practice and has worked with over 150 organizations in global pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, specialty pharmaceuticals, medtech, tools and diagnostics. John has worked with clients on a broad range of issues including corporate strategy, disease area strategy, product launches, portfolio optimization, international expansion, business development and mergers and acquisitions.

John graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, England with a Master of Arts in Biochemistry. He also received a Doctoral degree from Oxford in molecular biology and virology. John currently sits on the Board of MassMedic, the Massachusetts Medical Device Industry Council.
