George Woods is a Partner at L.E.K. Consulting’s Sydney office and heads L.E.K.’s Australian Aviation & Travel and Building & Construction practices. He has more than 18 years experience consulting to leading corporations in the UK and the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular focus on business models, industry structure and the importance of long term competitive positions. George has advised on several landmark transactions including the creation of Cement Australia, the privatization of Australia's airports, and a large number of trade and private equity acquisitions. Prior to joining L.E.K., George worked in the financial services industry. He has a Master of Arts degree in mathematics from Queens’ College, Cambridge, where he was a Foundation Scholar. He also received a Master of Business Administration degree with distinction from INSEAD.
