Colin Farmer joined L.E.K. Consulting’s London office in 1996. He has more than 16 years of experience working with private and public sector clients on key strategic, commercial and policy issues. Colin focuses primarily on corporate strategy and has helped clients address important issues of group strategic direction and business strategy development and validation.

Colin has extensive experience in developing sales process structures and franchise bid evaluation and tendering, in demand forecasting and value maximization in complex fixed-asset networks, and in value-based marketing strategies, including customer understanding, new product definition and launches, customer segmentation, and pricing and revenue-management strategies.

Prior to joining L.E.K., Colin was a doctoral research scholar at Cambridge University, where his work involved research into aspects of theoretical and computational inorganic chemistry. He has a Master of Arts, First Class, in Natural Sciences, also from Cambridge University.
